Technology will not inspire, but content will. As the content source for promoting public awareness and understanding of science, scientists and researchers find it hard to inspire the public with the scientific data appealing to the science community. With the spread of Internet and people’s increasing trust on the Internet, new challenge and opportunity emerges in jumping the gap between scientific data for research use and those can be well-received by the public.
This dual session will focus on how to make efficient use of scientific data in promoting public awareness and understanding of science.
