This key session will discuss the international cooperation on disaster mitigation and disaster data collection and its application in natural disaster reduction, and will canvas the international collaboration for construction of  the comprehensive disaster information systems at various levels (national level, regional level or global level). Discussants will also come to the topics on disaster research, disaster information standardization, disaster information share as well as the modern S&T achievements in disaster data collection and application. The issues related to disaster management will also be included.
