eGY activities in Japan

abstract: In September 2005, Japanese eGY committee has been established to promote eGY activity in Japan. The original committee consists of members mostly working in solar terrestrial physics or geomagnetism. Because of the nature of eGY which treats common data problems in various geophysical disciplines, we invited people from other fields such as meteorology, geodesy or oceanography. Directors of the World Data Centers in Japan are also included in the committee members. We present our current activities including their relation to other international programs.
