Science Blog: An Effective Exchange Tool for Scientific Communities

The number of blogs (weblogs) is growing extremely fast, and blogs have become a global phenomenon with important consequences for personal publishing and communication medium, thus this phenomenon cannot be ignored. This paper discusses science-related blogs’ advent of disseminating scientific data and information based on descriptive statistics and content analysis. Science blogs put back scientific data and knowledge into the hands of the public through scientific blogsphere. This is an important medium involving science communities in a continuing and informal exchange. The article also argues what this trend means for science community in the future.
