Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) project as one of the National Major Scientific Projects undertaken by the Chinese Academy of Science. The project will come into operation in 2008. Taking advantage of the telescope itself, 4000 spectrum can be obtained in one observation. Along with the powerful observation ability is its high data-acquiring rate. In a normal observation night, 20 GB data will be obtained. In the first part of the paper, observation workflow and process of huge archive acquirement are introduced. Storage requirements and initial consideration on the issue will be described in the second part. Archive management issues including release rules will be also discussed.
